Before officially joining Foxmont as a BI Analyst, Joaquin first worked alongside the Portfolio Management team as a full-time intern, supporting portfolio companies through data analysis, performance monitoring, and strategic reporting. Working closely with founders and internal teams, he transformed complex datasets into actionable insights that helped identify trends, uncover opportunities, and support strategic recommendations across the portfolio. Prior to Foxmont, he was an FSO Consulting Intern at SGV & Company, where he contributed to business transformation initiatives by supporting digital transformation projects and analyzing operational processes to measure efficiency improvements. Now joining Foxmont as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Joaquin works across the Investments, Portfolio Management, and Value Creation teams, delivering research, analytics, and reporting that enable better investment decisions, stronger portfolio oversight, and greater value creation.

Education and Inspiration

Joaquin holds a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Data Analysis from Santa Clara University. His academic background in econometrics, data visualization, and applied analytics has strengthened his ability to approach problems through a structured and data-driven lens. His early experiences across consulting, corporate strategy, and community development have reinforced his interest in understanding how organizations can create sustainable growth and meaningful impact.

Passions Beyond Business

Outside of work, Joaquin enjoys staying active through golf, padel, and regular gym sessions. He believes in continuously challenging himself, whether through sports, personal growth, or new experiences, and brings the same discipline, curiosity, and drive into his work at Foxmont.
